Convert compatible image uploads and selected WordPress Media Library files to four output formats. Not every hosting server can write every format; unsupported writers are detected instead of silently producing invalid files.
Choose WebP, AVIF, JPEG or PNG output
Adjust Image Quality from 1–100%
Set maximum width and height with aspect ratio preserved
Include-only or exclude-selected source file types
Keep animated GIFs intact when they cannot be safely converted
Output formats and practical considerations
Format
Often useful for
Notes
WebP
Everyday web images
Modern browser support and flexible compression
AVIF
High-efficiency delivery
Requires server AVIF writer support
JPEG
Photographs
Lossy, broadly compatible
PNG
Graphics needing lossless output
Quality setting changes compression effort, not image detail
Final output size depends on input content, format and encoder; no fixed reduction is guaranteed.
ANALYZE FIRST
Understand the impact before converting.
Preview and Dry Run help you compare outcomes without immediately replacing an attachment.
Before / After Preview
Slide between the source and a temporary converted preview. Compare file size, dimensions and selected profile before applying.
Temporary file generation
No Media Library replacement during preview
Apply the same profile when ready
Dry Run / Analyze
Check a selection, one page or the entire library for eligibility and projected image-weight changes.
Eligible, skipped and reason breakdown
Projected weight and estimated savings
No optimization history created by analysis
Beginner & Advanced
Start with straightforward choices, or open advanced settings for source rules and fine-grained conversion policy.
Recommended WebP 70% starting profile
Custom maximum resolution
Per-run overrides without resetting defaults
BULK & PAGE OPTIMIZATION
Work with one image or hundreds.
Choose a particular page, hand-pick images or run a controlled library-wide operation. Live status helps explain what's happening while jobs run.
Processing safeguards help reduce heavy load on active sites.
BUILT-IN SAFETY
Make changes with a way back.
Optimization is reversible only when a valid retained snapshot exists. The dashboard makes these restore options visible and manageable.
01
Versioned snapshots
Up to three pre-optimization states can be retained for each image. Each successful conversion can add a rollback point.
02
Restore specific media
Return a single image to an available earlier state, then regenerate the relevant attachment metadata and sizes.
03
Bulk restore controls
Restore a bulk run's successful conversions while skipping images modified later or missing required backups.
04
Manage backup space
Review retained backup storage and remove obsolete snapshots intentionally. Backup deletion does not delete current live images.
Good to know
Rollback depends on valid backups, available disk space and correct filesystem permissions. Always keep a separate full-site backup before large conversion runs.
LOCAL-FIRST DESIGN
Image processing stays on your server.
The plugin does not require a remote image optimization API. Supported conversions use compatible image libraries already present on your WordPress host, subject to server capability and resource limits.
